Notes to Self

My little corner of the internet where I can talk—vent, share, laugh, and sometimes admit that life really does suck. It’s for the messy, beautiful, exhausting ride of womanhood: juggling work, raising a toddler, navigating relationships, and figuring out who we are along the way.<br>Here, we’ll chat about lifestyle, fashion, beauty, health, fitness, and all the struggles and joys that make life feel real. This is a space to share stories, swap tips, and build a community of women supporting women—because none of us have to do it alone.

This is how it all started…

I started this lifestyle blog because I needed a platform to express myself.

At 43, living in Toronto, working full time, and raising a three-year-old, life can feel loud and overwhelming—but also strangely isolating. I was carrying a lot: motherhood, career pressure, relationship struggles, personal hardships, and emotions I didn’t always have space to unpack out loud.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I was holding too much inside.

This blog became a place where I could finally exhale. A space to tell my truth without editing it to make others comfortable. To write through the confusion, the growth, the heartbreak, the healing, and the moments of joy that exist right alongside the hard ones.

Here, I get to be more than a role or a title. I get to be a woman navigating motherhood in her 40s, love that didn’t turn out the way she hoped, resilience built through necessity, and a life that’s still unfolding. This isn’t about perfection—it’s about honesty, self-expression, and finding clarity through words.

If you’re also craving a place to feel seen, heard, or understood—welcome. This blog exists because sometimes surviving isn’t enough. Sometimes, we need to speak.
